IRRT appoints two academics to undertake Irish Productivity Centre research project

The Irish Productivity Centre commissioned the IRRT to undertake a research project on the origins and contribution of the IPC to the Irish Industrial Relations system (1963 - 2004).

Following the advertising of the project and discussions with interested academics, the IRRT appointed Dr. Gerard McHugh and Dr. Simon Boucher in a collaboration to undertake the research and prepare the history for publication.

The IRRT has asked Trustees, Liam Doherty and Martin King, and ICTU representative, Liam Berney, to oversee and facilitate the project.
